Both research, create deliverables and keep working in the cloud. Viktor is one shared employee for the company. Okou lets you define separate shared or private agents and choose the model for each chat.
You want one employee with shared company memory, a broad integration catalog, and full Slack and Microsoft Teams workflows. Viktor also offers web and desktop apps, hosted documents and internal tools.
You want distinct agents for marketing, sales or operations, with their own instructions and permissions. Choose models per chat and give a research job access that expires when the job is over.
Both offer recurring work, research, deliverables and approvals. Compare how each organizes your team’s work and controls access.
| Dimension | ||
|---|---|---|
| Deep research | Can research public sources and authorized business context using web, social, SEO and market data tools. Request a brief with source links, dates, gaps and next steps; coverage, output quality and cost depend on source access, model and tools.10,11,8 | Deep research reports and business research are documented; recurring jobs can use connected company tools and return reports or Docs.12,13 |
| Agents per team | Up to seven shared agents plus unlimited private ones on every plan, each with its own description, tone, avatar and connector grants2 | One AI employee the whole workspace shares, in Viktor's own words. No agent configuration by design13,12 |
| Model | Choose a model per chat from the current catalog, subject to your plan, workspace policy and provider. Eligible personal Claude or Codex subscriptions can also be connected.3,9 | Smart, Balanced and Ultra settings with named models and different effort/cost levels; the current product page publishes the choices12 |
| Permission granularity | Per agent, connector and named permission, with access that can expire after 1 hour, 24 hours or 7 days, or remain allowed4 | Admins can disconnect an integration, pause a user or kill a running task; money, code pushes and customer emails wait for approval14 |
| Whose account acts | For per-member connectors, a shared agent uses the calling member’s account and permission grants4 | The reviewed pages describe workspace integrations but do not fully specify caller-by-caller credential isolation; confirm this for your tools14,13 |
| Connectors | 4,000+5 | 9,800+ tools advertised on its product and pricing pages; verify the exact actions you need12,13 |
| Surfaces | Web, Slack, Telegram, and phone/SMS7 | Slack and Microsoft Teams with full approvals; web and desktop apps also available12 |
| Deliverables | Reports, decks, spreadsheets, generated images and hosted pages; format and tools depend on the task1,11 | Documents, decks, reports, image generation, Viktor Docs and hosted internal tools called Spaces12 |
| Naming | Not white-labelled: the app is Okou. What you name is each agent — seven shared ones, each with its own name and avatar2 | One agent, and it is called Viktor12 |
| Security and compliance | SOC 2 Type II in progress. Core platform open source, third-party penetration testing6 | Reports SOC 2 Type 1 and CASA Tier 3, GDPR alignment and CCPA compliance; Type II and ISO 27001 are in progress14 |
Viktor's own pricing page calls it one AI employee your whole team shares, and its product page is explicit that there is no agent configuration. That is a real design choice and it keeps setup short. Okou goes the other way: seven shared agents on every plan, each with its own description, tone and connector grants, so a marketing agent and a finance agent are different things with different access.
Viktor publishes Smart, Balanced and Ultra settings with named models and cost trade-offs. Okou exposes model selection per chat, including supported Claude and OpenAI models and eligible personal subscriptions. Check the available model, provider route and usage cost for the work you plan to delegate.
Viktor documents approvals for sensitive actions and admin controls. Okou lets you grant named connector permissions to an agent with an expiry, so temporary research access does not have to stay enabled. Both provide controls; check their scope against the task.
Give both products the same question, sources and time budget. Ask for links supporting material claims, explicit gaps and a recommendation, then a report, deck or update in the tool your team uses. Both can do research; compare the evidence and finished work, not just the length of the answer.
Compare the same workload, including plan fees, member costs and tool usage. Credits and allowances are different units on each product.
Plan fee plus a monthly credit package for each member
$20 / $50 / $100 / $200 monthly member packages add 20,400 / 52,600 / 108,700 / 222,200 shared credits respectively. Monthly credits expire at renewal; purchased credits never expire. Paid plans can top up or use auto-recharge.
Workspace credits, one public paid tier
Free credits never expire and the free plan carries every feature and integration. Enterprise adds per-user spend caps, volume credit pricing and invoicing. A fixed top-up rate is not specified on the reviewed pricing page.
Check the tools, actions and delivery channel first. Both handle research, reports and recurring jobs. Viktor advertises 9,800+ tools and full Microsoft Teams conversations; Okou has 4,000+ connectors and separate agents with member-specific access. Recreate and test one workflow before moving the rest.
No, and this is not a difference between them. Viktor's security page says tokens are injected at execution time by its tool gateway and the model never sees them. Okou injects credentials at the network layer for the same reason. What differs is granularity: Okou grants access per agent, per connector and per named action, with an optional expiry.
Viktor publishes Smart, Balanced and Ultra settings with named models and different cost levels. Okou lets you choose the model per chat from its available catalog, subject to plan, workspace and provider policy. It can also use an eligible personal Claude or Codex subscription.
Both can, and both keep running after you close your laptop. This is not a difference between them.
Viktor's paid tier is $100 a month for 40,000 credits. Okou Pro has no plan fee and requires a $20–$200 monthly package per member; Team adds a $160 monthly plan fee, starting at $180 with one member. Credit units differ, so compare the cost of the same workload. Okou top-ups cost $1 per 1,000 credits; monthly credits expire at renewal and purchased credits never expire.
Also compare Okou with Meta Muse, OpenAI dots, Claude Duet, Lindy, Claude Tag, Claude Cowork and ChatGPT workspace agents.
Pick a task your team actually repeats, give it to each agent, and compare what comes back.
